Folklore runs through the Museum this Half Term! Inspired by the Museum's new temporary exhibition, Folklore, a Witch Bottle trail and Corn Dolly crafting come into the Museum.
What to expect:
- Trail runs all week, Saturday 24 October - Sunday 1 November 2026
- Follow the trail through the displays collecting ingredients for your own Witch Bottle - a good-luck charm to take away
- Corn Dolly crafts on Thursday 29, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, 11:00-15:00, drop-in
- Learn about the folklore behind wheat charms and make your own Countryman's Favour to take home
- No tickets needed - included with Museum admission
- Children 16 and under go FREE
