About this event
Try Curling is part of the Junior Rock Stars curling programme at The PEAK ice rink in Stirling.
Rock on at The Peak in our Try Curling class. Our class will teach you the basics of curling: how to slide on the ice, how to sweep and how to deliver the stone. Fun, relaxed coaching from Scottish Curling qualified coaches.
What to expect:
- Thursdays 4.15pm – 5.15pm at The PEAK ice rink
- Dates: 10 and 17 September 2026, and 7 January 2027
- For ages 8 to 17
- "Age 8 to 17 - £6" per session
- Safety: how to move safely on the ice
- Delivering the stone, and sweeping to influence its speed and direction
- A chance to practise both delivering the stones and sweeping the ice
