Have been going to the Peak since I was a toddler doing swimming lessons and I have been going very often ever since. The gym is very good but is often too busy and could do with a few more machines (seated cable row, machine preacher curl and incline bench press machine) but it is currently being renovated so fingers crossed🤞. It has good courts for basketball and badminton, pickleball. It has a nice food place selling snacks but it is overpriced. Has a rock climbing wall and has multiple ice rinks for skating and curling.

Pool was nice but one specific life guard was awful me and my friend who is a girl went swimming together we were just having fun and dunking each other under water like everybody else there. We then get approached by a female employee who has pink hair and looks to be in her 40s she claims that we were being touchy and was completely out of line and plain right rude. This causes me and my life long friend having to leave due to being targeted and stared at by this employee when others were around also doing the same as us instead of actually doing her job and watching other people. Other people in the pool in exactly the same manner we were, it is only claimed to be touchy when it is a boy and a girl when if it was two people of the same gender acting in the same way, she never wouldve batted an eye. This employee was absolutely horrific and I hope that others do not receive the same treatment off of her due to her ruining our time hanging out.

Bad experience. We booked ice skating for a family of three. When we arrived, they asked, "Do you have skates?" If not, you'd have to pay an extra £3.50 each. This is the first time I've encountered this: you have to pay for skate rental at a city skating rink. Skating time itself costs £9 per person. Okay, we paid, went to pick up our skates, and then they told us to take off our shoes and we'll give you skates. While they were giving us the skates, we had to stand on the cold floor in our socks. What's more, there's nowhere to put the skates on; there are no benches near the rental area! I've seen people just sit on the floor and put them on! That's just terrible service. There are benches and chairs near the rink itself. In other skating rinks we've visited, we were given a plastic tray with skates in it. We'd go to a bench, change our shoes, and then bring ours back to the tray for safekeeping. It's much more hygienic; the trays are easy to clean, and people aren't sitting or standing on cold floors! Please take action. The skates were so uncomfortable that I could only skate for 10 minutes due to a sharp pain in my ankles. What a service for the price!
