Peculiar Portrait Trail is part of the programme at National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth. It is part of the museum's October Half Term programme, Nautical Nasties.
Do you dare to wander around the museum and discover some spooky portraits from the deep? A hands-on trail through the galleries to hunt for every portrait.
What to expect:
- Every day, Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, 10am to 5pm
- Self-led hands-on trail around the museum's galleries
- The trail also runs during Halloween at the Museum on Saturday 31 October, 4pm to 6pm
- Pair it with the Make & Take crafts (12.30pm to 3.30pm daily)
- The museum says its half-term activities are free as part of the annual admission fee (pay once, visit free for a year)
