Really interesting display of local Cornwall maritime history. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Views from level 3 back to Falmouth were great too. Recommended.

This is a great museum. There are so many items on display and informative plaques to read. I spent an hour + exploring and enjoying the lookout as well. The café is nice - i got a bag of crisps and a cola so I could sit and enjoy the view on the water. The staff are very friendly. The gift shop was really nice as well. I learned a lot walking around and looking at the displays.

Excellent provincial museum with many interesting exhibits. Entry fee is not cheap though. The lookout tower provides a wonderful panoramic view of the harbour.

This a fantastic place for anyone who has messed about in boats to visit. There is an impressively wide variety of small boats on show and really imaginatively displayed, hanging from the roof. Seen from the first mezzanine gives a waterline experience. So interesting to see boats from above and below. There are also galleries presenting aspects of maritime life from all ages. Trading, travelling, piracy, surfing. For the younger visitor there is an Indoor play area which was well patronised! Also a radio control boat pool. The cafe offered a good fare and the shop is really well stocked with morr unusual items. The practicalities of boat building are covered with an active workshop area that is currently building a commando surf boat replica. If you are really lucky there is a warehouse that houses the parts of collection not on display and where restorations take place. Some gems up there and I was really lucky. As a bonus, your ticket will allow multiple visits.

They're are always fabulous exhibitions in the buildings. Talks you can sign up to listen to online. The cafe does wonderful reasonably priced and children's portions as well. Plenty for all the family. The photos show the walk we always do which is out to Pendenis Point and further along to Gllyvase beach.
