About this event
Pet Club is part of the children's programme at Kentish Town City Farm, the UK's first city farm. The farm's own invitation: "Come to the farm and learn about small fluffy animals!"
What to expect:
- A free half-termly course "covering small pet diets, safe handling, health checks" and what to grow to feed your pets
- Saturdays 12:00 to 13:00 or Sundays 12:00 to 13:00 - the farm asks you to "only sign up for either Saturday or Sunday so everyone gets a chance to join"
- "Open to children aged 8-16 years"
- "We cannot wait for you all to have guinea pig cuddles and snuggles, sheep walks, and bunny grooming!"
- Drop-in sessions for "smaller learners (under 5s)" run on Mondays at 11:30 to 12:00 instead
- Sign up in advance on the farm's booking page; Christmas term signups are live
- It is a working farm, so wear clothes and shoes you do not mind getting mucky
