About this event
Pond Dipping Adventures is part of the October half-term programme from the Wat Tyler Education Team at Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea, Basildon. Children and families search the pond for the creatures living beneath the water.
What to expect:
- Monday 26, Tuesday 27 and Friday 30 October at 11am and 2pm; Saturday 31 October at 10am and 2.30pm
- Look for water beetles, pond snails, dragonfly and damselfly nymphs, phantom midge larvae and water boatmen
- Learn about local wildlife habitats with hands-on outdoor exploration
