Pony Day

Pony Day is part of the holiday programme at Charnwood Forest Alpacas in Boundary, Leicestershire. Our Pony Days are available for all abilities and are perfect for those with no animal experience or more confident animal lovers, with a strong emphasis on the day being fun while staying educational, and plenty of riding.

What to expect:

• Tuesday 20 and Tuesday 27 October, 9.30am - 3pm
• Suitable for children aged 5-16, from beginners to advanced riders; no assessment lesson needed
• £72.95 per child
• Covers all aspects of pony care: bringing in and turning out, grooming, tacking up, a 60 minute riding lesson, tack cleaning, mucking out and field checks
• Each Pony Day varies, so children can come more than once and get a different experience
• Bring a packed lunch and a drinks bottle
• Riding boots or wellies are essential; the day runs outdoors whatever the weather, so dress for the forecast. Bring a riding hat if you have one
