Posca Pen Workshop for Kids with Sombrero Printmaking

Posca Pen Workshop for Kids is part of the programme at Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell in the Peak District.

Artist Dave Elsom of Sombrero Printmaking runs a vibrant, fun-filled workshop bursting with colour: children use acrylic paint markers on clear acetate and printed images to make bold patterns, characters, doodles or abstract masterpieces.

What to expect:

• Wednesday 28 October 2026, 1.30pm to 3pm, in the October half-term
• Every young artist leaves with unique handmade creations to keep or give away
• All materials and equipment provided, and no experience needed
• The ticket price is per child and includes garden admission for one child and one accompanying adult; pre-booking is essential and tickets are limited to one adult per child
• Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times, and the ticket includes a cafe discount
• Additional garden admission tickets must be bought separately
