Roman Mosaic Coasters with Rhona Duffy is part of Creative Sessions at Callendar House, the venue's programme of artist-led workshops in Callendar Park, Falkirk.

Create your own Roman-style mosaic coaster using traditional marble tiles in a relaxed, family-friendly session inspired by the Roman connections with the Falkirk area. Falkirk-based mosaic artist Rhona Duffy provides a curated selection of materials, designs and simple step-by-step guidance, and is on hand throughout to help.

What to expect:

• Use one of the studio's designs or create your own from traditional marble tiles
• "Children are welcome with paying adults and mosaic coasters are suitable for ages 6+"
• Children can enjoy Roman and Falkirk-inspired activity sheets if they finish early
• Coasters are left to dry, grouted and finished for you, and collected about a week later
