About this event
Santa in the Caves is part of Christmas at Kents Cavern, which runs from late November to Christmas Eve 2026.
In the cavern's words: "Christmas is in trouble! The Reindeer won't fly, the presents aren't packed and the sleigh needs fixing - and it's nearly Christmas Eve! Guided by professional actors, families explore the beautifully lit cave passages, stopping to meet funny, festive characters."
What to expect:
- Fourteen dates: 28-29 Nov; 5-6, 11-13, 17, 19-20 and 21-24 December 2026
- "An interactive one hour pantomime-style experience through the caves"
- Fun Christmas songs, characters and hands-on activities
- "A magical meet and greet with Santa for every child" in the final chamber
- "A hand-wrapped Christmas gift from Santa"
- Underground at a constant 15C with nine shallow steps; sensible footwear
- "This event sells out every year" - the cavern advises booking early
