About this event
Santa's Grotto is part of the Christmas Adventure at Stockeld Park near Wetherby, which runs 21 November to 24 December 2026. You walk through a North Pole village, ride an enchanted elevator and meet Father Christmas in his log cabin.
What to expect:
- Open every day from 21 Nov to 24 Dec 2026, 9.40am to 6.40pm - closing earlier at 5.40pm on Christmas Eve
- Starts in the Grotto dome: interactive play, whimsical games and live-action elves while you wait
- Then the enchanted elevator to Santa's log cabin, where Mrs Claus greets you before Santa does
- "All bookings are based on one family meeting Santa at a time" - not a group visit
- Your slot is when you enter the dome, not when you meet Santa: that follows 15 minutes to an hour later
- "Yes, adults need a ticket to enter. We require at least one adult per group"
- Included in gold and silver Christmas tickets; quieter on an early-season weekday
