About this event
“Bring the family to see Santa on his special train with the fantastically festive Epping Ongar Railway Santa Specials!” A vintage bus, a steam-hauled train through Epping Forest, and a present for every child.
What to expect:
- 28 and 29 November, then 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 December 2026
- Bus departures 11.40, 13.20 and 15.00 in November; 10.35, 12.15, 13.55 and 15.35 in December (no 15.35 on 24 December)
- “All children receive a present from Santa”
- “Inclusive Park and Ride service on our vintage London buses from Epping or Ongar”
- Festive food stall and a live brass band at North Weald while you wait
- Seating is at tables of 2 or 4, or a private compartment for 6 or 8 – “This table is exclusive to your party”
- “You should allow up to 2 1⁄2 hours for your Santa Special experience from either Epping or Ongar.”
- Limited Blue Badge parking at North Weald by prior arrangement
