About this event
Santa Specials is part of the programme at East Somerset Railway, Cranmore Station in Somerset.
Santa is back at Cranmore. You take a 30-minute steam ride to the South Pole first, then return to the station to visit Santa himself and collect a gift - if you have been good, of course.
What to expect:
- Nine dates in December 2026: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24 December
- A special Santa timetable with departures at 10.30, 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30 and 15.30
- A 30-minute train ride to the South Pole and back before you meet Santa
- Every child gets a goody bag to take on the train, with colouring sheets, crayons and a family Santa quiz
- A balloon modeller rides the train, turning balloons into animals, hats and swords
- Refreshments at the station including mulled wine, soft drinks, biscuits and mince pies
- Tickets are available online through the railway's own DigiTickets shop
