About this event
Santa Specials are part of the Christmas programme at the Swindon & Cricklade Railway, Blunsdon Station. Travel by heritage train to visit Santa in his decorated grotto at the North Pole, where Mr Frosty and his helpers meet you on the platform before you go in to see him.
What to expect:
- 28 and 29 November, 5 and 6, 12 and 13, 19 and 20 December
- Departures every 30 minutes: 10.30, 11.00, 11.30, 12.00, 12.30, then 13.45, 14.15, 14.45, 15.15, 15.45, 16.15
- Ticket Pricing - Adults £17, Seniors £16, Children Age 2yrs and over £17 (Includes present from Santa), Children under 2yrs £10 (includes present)
- Round trip takes 45 minutes to an hour; allow at least 15 minutes to park and reach the platform
- Booking essential - online ticketing for each day closes at 8.30pm the day before
- Decorated station, gift shop, buffet coach and the Whistle Stop Cafe
- Wheelchair users ride in the accessible coach, and one carer travels free on the same ticket
