About this event
Willows Activity Farm near St Albans turns over to Christmas: a walk through a winter wonderland to Santa's grotto, a golden key to his toy shop, and the farm's usual rides and play on the same ticket.
What to expect:
- 17 dates: 27-29 November, then 5, 6, 11-13, 16-24 December 2026
- “Santa will give children a key to his Toy Shop where they can choose any gift from the hundreds stacked from floor to ceiling.”
- Create-a-Cuddle soft-toy workshop, gingerbread decorating, reindeer food making, a letter to Santa, festive shows, festive funfair rides and the reindeer in The Farmyard
- “We recommend you allow a minimum of 4 hours to make the most of your visit”; grotto journeys start in 15-minute slots from 8:45 or 9:15am
- The slot you book is when you start the journey, not when you meet Santa - allow another 60 minutes for that
- Later closing on 17 and 18 December; the farm closes at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve
