What to expect:
- Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, 1.30pm to 7.30pm
- Living history with Herigeas Hundas: weaving, smithing, spinning and dyeing, plus combat and archery displays
- For children: the Saxon Games Tent, Paint a Saxon, a Saxon storyteller in the Library and a Shield Wall Drill
- Have a go at weaving and spinning, free with your ticket
- Beowulf told in three parts, ending at dusk as a Saxon ship is set alight
