Science Museum & UK Space Agency: Space Explorers Academy

Space Explorers Academy is part of the what's-on programme at Nottingham Playhouse, in the February half term.

Calling all space fans. The Science Museum, in association with the UK Space Agency, has teamed up with Mark Thompson Productions to launch a theatrical adventure that blasts you on an epic journey around the planets - zooming past the Sun, dodging swirling storms on Jupiter, gliding by the rings of Saturn and venturing out to the icy giants at the edge of the solar system.

• Running time 60 minutes
• Created especially for 6-12-year-olds and the grown-ups who love space just as much; the venue's own age line is 5+
• Brilliant planet facts, jaw-dropping discoveries and the secrets of what it takes to explore space for real
