About this event
Scots Music Group's ceilidhs at St Bride's Centre are lively, friendly, informal and fun for all ages. You don't need a partner and you don't need to know the dances - every band brings an experienced caller who walks everyone through before you start. The ceilidhs also raise funds for the group.
What to expect:
- Saturdays 31 October, 28 November and 19 December 2026, a different band each night
- Doors open 7pm; dancing runs from 7.30pm to 11pm with a break at around 9/9.15pm to draw the raffle
- Children are welcome, though they should not be in the bar area unsupervised, and ceilidhs can get quite energetic so may be less suitable for younger children
- Online in advance tickets are £12 full and £8 concession. On the door they are £15 full and £10 concession
- Children aged 5 to 16 are charged at the concession price and under 5s get in free, but need a ticket
- Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes - heels are not recommended
