About this event
SEN Christmas is part of the festive programme at Castaway Play in Congleton — a quieter version of the centre's Christmas Alpine Retreat, "created especially for children with special educational needs and their families".
What to expect:
- Two dates: Saturday 28 November and Monday 21 December 2026
- "designed to offer a calmer and more relaxed Christmas experience, with a welcoming atmosphere where children can enjoy the magic of the season at their own pace"
- "Whether your child loves festive lights, seasonal play, Christmas characters, or simply spending time in a safe and friendly space"
- Castaway Play's SEN sessions run with reduced sound levels and carefully managed numbers, and include use of the Space sensory room
- "Siblings welcome" and "Access to all areas"
- Indoor and outdoor play across the centre's five themed worlds
- Booked in advance; the operator says early booking is recommended
