About this event
The SEND Santa Specials are the relaxed version of Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway's Christmas trains. "Experience the magic of Christmas in a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment" - the same journey aboard the Jingle Belle, run at a gentler pace for children and families who benefit from extra support.
What to expect:
- Three dates: Saturday 12, Sunday 13 and Saturday 19 December 2026, departing 4:40pm
- "With reduced capacity, lower sound levels and a gentler pace throughout"
- "a truly special one-to-one meeting with Santa himself" in a themed grotto, with a gift for every child
- Festive activities and characters along the way, "at their own pace"
- "Advance booking is essential, with limited places available on each departure."
- "Gifts are only given to children" - you choose the age group when booking
- "We regret there is no wheelchair access on the Santa Special Experience" - staff assist anyone able to transfer
