Experience the magic of Christmas with the Sleigh Bell Special at the Doon Valley Railway, a hidden gem in the heart of Ayrshire — a vintage heritage train ride through the scenic Doon Valley, with a visit from Santa himself.
What to expect:
- Runs Sat & Sun: 28-29 Nov, 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 Dec 2026
- Departures at 10:15, 11:15, 12:45, 1:45 and 2:45pm from the car park (shuttle bus to Dunaskin Station)
- Santa boards the train to greet every child and give a gift (children up to age 15)
- Signal Box Café open after your ride for festive refreshments
- Adults & Children (3-15): £25.00; Infants & Toddlers (Under 3): £10, must travel on an adult's lap
- Tickets must be pre-booked online; no walk-ins for this event
