Small Space Day is part of the programme at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Looking for a magical day out that's just right for your little explorer? Small Space Day is designed especially for toddlers and pre-schoolers, with a playful mix of fun, discovery, and early years learning - all with a space twist!
What to expect:
- 26 November 2026, 8 January 2027 and 28 May 2027
- Ages 2-5 (babies and older siblings welcome)
- No big school groups - just little adventurers, so your toddler can roam, play and explore in a calm, welcoming environment
- Developed by the Centre's Education Team: interactive space-themed zones, storytime and sensory items, craft and hands-on sessions
- A fulldome planetarium show is included on your first visit, with three to choose from including a special show created for toddlers
- FREE entry for under 5s
- Children must be supervised by a parent, grandparent or guardian at all times - no drop-offs
