Spirits of Halloween

Walk with spirits and drink with the dead this Halloween. A spine-tingling ghost tour through Edinburgh's medieval streets and the haunted Blair Street Underground Vaults, ending with a glass of witches' brew in the candlelit Megget's Cellar as your Storyteller weaves more tales.

What to expect:

• Runs nightly, Fri 23rd Oct – Sat 31st Oct 2026
• Departures at 18:00 and 19:00 on 23–25 Oct, 19:00 on 26–29 Oct, and 19:00 and 20:00 on 30–31 Oct
• 2 hours, led by a Master Storyteller, with hand-picked sounds of Edinburgh delivered through TourTalk audio devices
• "Children over 5 years old are welcome – but you'll need to judge if they're up to it!" Under 5s are not permitted on any Mercat tour
• "Complimentary drink included"
• Start point: Mercat Cross, High Street. End point: Megget's Cellar, Blair Street, off Hunter's Square
