Stay and Play is part of the programme at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham.
A weekly free-play morning and afternoon for the museum's under-5s, set out in the museum's Conversation Gallery rather than in a side room.
What to expect:
- Every Thursday until 7 January 2027, 10am to 4pm - drop in at any point
- "Time for The Bowes’ youngest visitors to explore and play in the Conversation Gallery, investigate materials and be creative in this self-led, free-play session."
- "Suitable for children up to 5 years."
- "Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times."
