About this event
As Calan Gaeaf approaches and the veil between our world and Annwn grows thin, the Stranger Folk have crossed into our world. But who are they, and what should happen to them?
What to expect:
- Daily 1 October to 1 November 2026, from 10:30
- Download the free Stranger Folk app and step into an interactive folklore adventure where you'll be guided by the mysterious Crone.
- The app is free to download before you visit or when you arrive at Tredegar House.
- You'll need a magic password to begin your adventure, which you can collect from the Welcome Point when you arrive.
- Designed for 7+, but parents can use their discretion.
- Dress for the Welsh weather.
- The site is mostly flat, however there are some steps in the house.
- We have created an alternative route for wheelchair users.
- The bedrooms are only accessible via stairs due to the historic nature of the house - a flip book of photographs is available for anyone who is unable to reach upstairs.
