A magnificent historic house with stunning architecture and beautiful, expansive gardens. I visited in early July and the entire estate looked absolutely lovely. You can really feel the history of the Morgan family in every room. Walking through the 90 acres of grounds was the perfect way to spend a summer day; the gardens are serene and exceptionally well-maintained. A fantastic, peaceful place to spend an afternoon in Newport.

Wonderful day out. Easy parking (free for members), Pokemon trail with card pack as prize for kids, lovely walk around lake/grounds, nice cafe and interesting house. Fabulous second hand book shop very well organised. Even has a sustainable refills shop. All NT people very friendly. Recommended.

A lovely place for a pleasant walk around the lake. Wide expansive grassy areas for running around in (kids or dogs - dogs required to be on leads near the house). House itself is very well presented, full of interesting diorama and information cards. Different areas done as original, Victorian and 1920s style. Well worth visiting.

We decided to visit as its only 30 mins away from where we live. Its a lovely house and the grounds are lovely to. Inside the house there are guides dotted about so you can freely ask questions about each part of the house. I found this to better than a guided tour. We had lunch in the cafe and it was tasty and well priced. The gift shop had some lovely hand crafted wood products. A nice couple of hours out and the weather was good too.

Beautiful place to visit. The mansions were very well maintained. The grass is a perfectly green and fresh. The views of the garden and lakes nearby are impressive.
