Sun, stars and planets

Arrive at Carnewas before sunset for a chance to look at the sun safely through telescopes before it sets, then take a closer look at the moon, stars and planets as they come into view. This Kernow Astronomers event is hosted by the National Trust. Please check for weather updates nearer the time.

What to expect:

• 17 October 2026 to 19 December 2026 on 3 selected dates
• "Parking charges apply - free for National Trust members and Blue Badge holders."
• Meet at the National Trust car park at Carnewas at Bedruthan.
• "Wear warm clothes and bring a torch."
• No booking needed
