About this event
Taster Sessions for Kids is part of the programme at Chimera Climbing Tunbridge Wells, a dedicated indoor bouldering centre.
We offer taster sessions for kids at the weekend. These last an hour and are with one of our qualified instructors. It’s a great way for your child to try climbing for the first time and gain some useful hints and tips, whilst exploring our walls.
What to expect:
- Weekend sessions lasting an hour, led by one of the centre's qualified instructors
- Aimed at children trying climbing for the first time
- Bouldering is indoor climbing without ropes, using padded mats for safety
- A good way to see if your child is ready for a kids' club: Little Monkeys (5-7), Rock Ninjas (8-11) or Chimera Academy (12-16)
- The centre says all kids over the age of five can come and boulder
