About this event
The Autumn Orchard Festival is part of the programme at Norton Priory Museum & Gardens in Runcorn.
A weekend celebration of the harvest from Norton Priory's extensive orchards, home to the National Collection of Tree Quince, with family-friendly activities, live music, a cider bar and a gift fair.
What to expect:
- Sunday 11 October 2026 (the festival also runs Saturday 10 October)
- Artisanal market in the museum building, plus orchard and Walled Garden produce
- Outdoor games on the croquet lawn, including pumpkin ring toss and skittles
- An autumnal trail around the Walled Garden
- Live performances from local bands; mulled cider bar in the medieval Undercroft
- New for 2026: the first Norton Priory Bake-Off of apple and quince cakes
- "This event is included with General Admission, with up to 3 children free per paying adult!"
