About this event
The Elf Express is part of Christmas at the Severn Valley Railway.
An immersive Christmas adventure on a steam train from Bridgnorth, made with Wise Owl Theatre Company: live performance, storytelling and puppetry in your own compartment, with Mrs Claus, elves and Gingersnap the Gingerbread Man.
What to expect:
- Selected dates 28 November to 24 December 2026; departures 10am, 12.15pm, 2.30pm and 4.45pm
- Bridgnorth to Highley and back, about 75 minutes; you stay on the train
- Santa visits your compartment to meet your family and give each child a present
- Sweet treat for everyone and a wooden tree decoration for adults
- Private compartments of four or six; under-twos travel free and still get a present
- Arrive up to 45 minutes early; leave buggies at home
