About this event
The Haunted Bookshop: Nautical Nasties is part of the programme at National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth. It is the storytelling show at the heart of the museum's October Half Term programme.
A spooky storytelling show for the whole family, packed with sea-monster sightings and peculiar puppets. Mr Squelch has been gathering stories from sailors, ghosts and the briny deep itself.
What to expect:
- Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026
- Three shows a day: 11am, 1pm and 3pm
- Tales of sea-monsters, creepy puppetry and dubious "scientific" claims
- Produced with Coppice Theatre
- Make & Take crafts and the Peculiar Portrait Trail run the same days
- The museum says its half-term activities are free as part of the annual admission fee (pay once, visit free for a year)
