About this event
The Lapland Express Quiet Train is part of the events programme at Downpatrick and County Down Railway.
The railway runs one quieter session of its Santa train: in its own words, a quiet train with reduced passenger numbers and reduced noise, and a longer gap between it and the previous public train to ensure less crowding and waiting.
What to expect:
- One departure only, at 16:30 on Saturday 28 November, from Downpatrick station
- Fewer passengers on board and less noise than the regular Lapland Express trains
- Otherwise the same trip: 45 minutes to Inch Abbey and back with Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves, and a present for every child
- Adults: £22. Children: £27 (includes a present). Infants aged 0-12 months not requiring a present, drink or treat: FREE
- The quiet train is marked on the booking calendar when you choose Saturday 28th November
- Level access from the car park, a ramp onto the train and accessible toilets
