About this event
The Mystery of the Mummy's Curse is part of the programme at Cannon Hall Museum near Barnsley.
The year is 1907 and local archaeologist Harold Jones has returned from Egypt. During a dinner party with the Spencer Stanhopes at Cannon Hall the lights go out, and Harold and his case of artefacts are gone. "Can you help solve the mystery and stop the mummy’s curse?"
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 October 2026, three sessions: 11.30-12.30, 1pm-2pm and 2pm-3pm
- "Suitable for children aged 7 - 11 years."
- "Tickets are £5 per child." One ticket per child; accompanying adults (up to 2 per child) do not need to book
- Inspired by the Cleopatra and the Queens of Egypt exhibition at Experience Barnsley
