Part of Christmas at Cheddar, the winter programme at Cheddar Gorge & Caves in Somerset. "Deep within Gough’s Cave a magical transformation is taking place" — the elves have set up a workshop in the cave and you can walk through it on any day's visit.
What to expect:
- "The South West Workshop is open daily from 21 November until Christmas Eve."
- "The elves will be busy in the workshop checking destinations, sorting letters, making toys and inspecting the famous sleigh"
- "Children are welcome to write and send a letter to Father Christmas too."
- "The South West Workshop in Gough’s Cave is included with a Cheddar Gorge & Caves Day Ticket. Under 3s can enter the South West Workshop for free."
- "Please note, the Workshop does not include meeting Father Christmas or the Grotto show." That is a separate ticket
- "due to the steep gradients and steps, wheelchair users and those with limited mobility will find much of Gough’s Cave inaccessible"
