Let The Companye of Merrie Folke transport you back 500 years to discover how Thomas Paycocke and his household would have spent the festive season: the decorations, the music; the food, drink and revelry! The tea-room will be offering seasonal fare and winter warmers. Take a break to enjoy the cosy parlour seating area and indulge in a mince pie, mulled wine, or other tasty treats.
What to expect:
- Daily 21 November to 22 November 2026, 11:00–16:00
- Suitable for all ages
- Level access to gardens, tea-room, toilet and ground floor of the house.
- Meeting point: Entry through the cart way.
- Please note guided tours will not be running during the event, but our tour guides will be on hand to convey Paycocke's intriguing history.
