Twilight at Rufford

One evening in half term Rufford Abbey Country Park stays open late and lights the abbey ruins and courtyards for Halloween. "Explore the grounds in the evening air and experience our historic park and abbey ruins lit up especially for Halloween."

What to expect:

• Friday 30 October 2026, with the park and outlets open until 7pm
• Halloween Trail 10am-7pm - the woodland trail through twilit paths, sheets from the Courtyard Gift Shop
• Mini Courtyard Makers Market 12pm-7pm, with handcrafted Halloween gifts and local artisan goods
• Mischief & Magic Show 4pm-6pm, followed by a meet-and-greet with the green and pink witches
• The Curator's Cabinet at 5.30pm in the Abbey Kitchen - a separate ticketed show, ages 15+ only
• Coach House Cafe and Gift Shop open until 7pm for hot drinks and seasonal food
• "Late parking rate of £2 per car entering after 3pm" (standard rates before 3pm)
• Illuminated courtyards to wander between the activities
