Got clothes you no longer wear but don’t want to throw away? This hands-on workshop introduces the art of clothing upcycling through embroidery and visible mending.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October 2026, 1pm to 4pm, in the Heritage Craft Room
- Learn basic hand embroidery and visible mending methods for repairing clothing
- Bring an item of clothing you’d like to mend, customise or upcycle
- Suitable for ages 13-19; no previous sewing experience required
- Book in advance; give contact details for a parent, guardian or responsible adult when booking
- Part of a three-part teen series: book individual sessions or the full programme
