Vogrie Pumpkin Forest

The centuries-old trees and winding estate paths of Vogrie Country Park wake into a glowing woodland wonderland of 17 handcrafted themed zones and over 1,000 hand-carved pumpkins. Spooky, never scary - built for wide eyes, not nightmares.

What to expect:

• 19 nights: Thursday to Sunday from 8 to 25 October 2026, then every night from 26 October to 1 November
• Gates open 17:30, last entry 20:30, gates close 21:30; entry in 30-minute arrival windows
• A 50-minute woodland trail, family and dog friendly, with zero jump scares and no strobe lighting
• Adult £18.00 peak (Fri & Sat) / £17.00 off-peak (Thu & Sun); Child ages 4 to 15 £14.50 / £13.50; ages 3 and under go free
• Family Pass (2 adults, 2 children) £59.00 / £55.00; Single Parent Pass (1 adult, 2 children) £44.00 / £41.00
• Halloween week, 26 October to 1 November, is all peak pricing
• Parking is £3 per car and goes straight to Midlothian Council
• Pushchairs and all-terrain wheels are fine across the whole route; carers go free
