A great park, beautiful location and a fantastic playground, however could be better sign posted, in my opinion. We tried the café at the Vogrie House in summer and that was lovely too.
Lovely walk in the well maintained grounds. Properly dog friendly park and cafe. The lovely cafe up at the house needs better sign posting from main car park though.. more promotion might bring more customers! 🤔.. it was our 1st visit today and we were unsure where to go. But we will be back!
A lovely place to walk dogs or take children, plenty bins along well kept gravel paths. Plenty to see, forestry, ponds, wild flowers, historic home. I look forward to returning
Beautiful country park, lots of parking, toilets, cafe, lots of picnic benches. They have redeveloped a former golf course into wild flower meadows. No flowers as yet as visited in May, will return in August. Good display of bluebells in the woods
Beautiful large open grounds, excellent adventure park with lots to keep kids busy. Even on a windy day the adventure park is quite well sheltered by plenty of large trees. Going on a Sunday allows the opportunity to have a ride on the miniature railway which is fantastic. Even the toilet facilities were very clean which is nice to see. If you bring a picnic it’s an incredibly adorable day out.
