About this event
Join Let’s Make Art this October half-term for a creative family workshop inspired by Joy Gregory : Catching Flies with Honey . Explore ways of giving treasured and everyday objects a new presence through print.
What to expect:
- Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2026, 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm each day
- Experiment with oil pastel transfer, carbon paper and watercolour washes to create richly layered monoprints
- Inspired by Joy Gregory’s Objects of Beauty, in the current exhibition
- "Please wear clothes to get creative in!"
- Workshops can get very busy; activities are set up in the Reading Room on the second floor while you wait, and 3-4pm is quieter
- "Free, no need to book, just drop in!"
