About this event
As night falls the park turns into an after-dark illuminated trail - animal-themed installations, glowing lanterns, festive scenes, projected wildlife to chase and twinkling canopies to walk beneath. Father Christmas is there to wave hello as you wander by.
What to expect:
- Timed entry every 15 minutes on 40 dates between 20 November 2026 and 3 January 2027
- First entry 16:30 on 20-22 November, 16:00 on every date from 27 November
- Last entry 19:30, later on 18-23 December (20:15) and 19:00 from Christmas Eve
- No trail on 23-26 November, or on Christmas Day
- "the animals will be in bed and not on display throughout this event"
- Hot food, mulled wine, fire pits and marshmallow toasting along the route
- Adult, child, family, membership and disabled tickets; a carer goes free on production of a valid PIP, DLA or NHS letter
