About this event
Willow Lantern Workshops is part of the programme at Stanwick Lakes, the nature reserve and countryside attraction near Stanwick in Northamptonshire.
Make Your Own Willow Lantern for Halloween (or our Christmas Lantern Walk!) from willow our Rangers collected during conservation work on the reserve. Build a lantern frame, add twinkling lights, cover it with tissue paper, then decorate it with bright colours, creepy shapes and spooky designs.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October 2026, 2-hour workshops at 10.30am and 2pm
- Held in the Discovery Zone
- No experience is necessary; young children need to be supervised by an adult
- No more than 2 children per adult for children under 10 years of age.
- Tickets are £9 per lantern.
- Booking required; register at the welcome desk 5 minutes before
- Parking not included.
