About this event
A great opportunity to introduce your children to the wonderful world of wildlife. Winter Explorers is a whole-day programme where children learn all about the animals who call the park home, create wintery crafts, play animal-themed games and spend plenty of time exploring the park in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 30 December 2026, 10:30am to 3:30pm
- For children aged 7-11 - the organiser strongly recommends not booking anyone older than 11 or younger than 7
- Out and about whatever the weather - come prepared for wintery conditions; a packing list comes with the booking confirmation
- Bring a snack, lunch and a refillable drinks bottle
- No planned close animal interactions, but plenty of enclosure visits
- Ticket covers the session only, not park entry for parents or siblings
- Childcare vouchers not accepted
