Winter Wonderland is Adventure Valley's Christmas event at Union Hall Farm near Durham — "the greatest Christmas event of the North East". Children collect a passport at entry, then work through elf-led activities and a one-to-one Santa meeting.
What to expect:

- You book a Santa slot, not an arrival time; park access lasts all day, and the operator asks you to "arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes before this time"
- Included: a "Reindeer plushie factory", the Winter Valley Express, Claus's Candy sweet shop, gingerbread decorating with Mrs Claus, reindeer food, a snowball disco arena, a pony ride and a toy from the Elf Toy Shop
- Tickets: child "from £43.95 to £46.95", adult "from £16.95 to £19.95"
- "PUSH CHAIRS are not permitted in the event's barn, but we have a pushchair park nearby."
