About this event
Witches, Wands & Whistles is part of the programme at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet.
For half term, Havenstreet will be transformed into a spooky steam railway, packed with witches, wizards, magic, creepy characters and plenty of Halloween surprises.
What to expect:
- 17 to 31 October 2026, with free entry to the site
- The Halloween Express: a ticketed spooky train ride past Halloween displays along the route, in carriages dressed for the occasion
- Live performances, a magic wizard, circus skill workshops, potion making, giant bubbles and stilt walkers
- A pumpkin patch field: "Pumpkins are priced according to size." with a FREE pumpkin carving station
- Craft marquee: make a witches' broomstick, a magic wand or a spooky cake (extra charge)
- Train tickets include a small pumpkin and a goody bag for children
- 3rd class: "Adults: £26 online / £29.50 at the gate", up to 3 children free; "Under 5s: FREE"
- Trains depart Havenstreet from 10:15
