Really great day out. So much to see & do. Great for ALL ages. Even if you're not that into trains, ots fun & quite a revelation. Kids go free ( up to 3 ) with a paying adult & carers with pass are free.

A fantastic morning/ early afternoon out. The train ticket is an open ticket so you can use it as many times as you like on that day, so if you’d like you could just sit on the train and go up and down the line all day. But there is more to it than just the steam train experience, there is the history of the IOW railway and the workshops. All in all a very entertaining and informative day. I highly recommend this to any railway enthusiast and it would be great for families with young children.

Fantastic day out to go on a steam train! The place has a good car park. We booked tickets before we went which saved money. We did a 1st class experience which was nice there was 8 of us and we fit in nicely! Steam train was really cool and my kids loved it! The museum was lovely you can go in some of the trains. The shop was reasonably priced! We also went into the cafe which had a playground around the back. Lovely day to find out about the trains on the island and the island tracks. The train ride was about an hour and you could go on it all day! Staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the money would come again.

Seemed expensive for 3 stops but kids went free and Easter egg hunt was fun. Not understand class of carriage as made some be unused and others full. Also preferred travelling sideways then front to back. Shops and museums were good fun. Would got more if better value. Also animal friendly

Visited here on our recent trip to the island. This place is fantastic for adults and children of all ages. All the staff are super friendly and passionate about what they do which really shows in the great work they do. Very affordable pricing with so much to see and do. They also had an Easter trail on for the children who both got an egg. Highly recommend this place 👍
