About this event
Wizarding Weekend is part of October half term fun at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, which runs 24 October to 1 November 2026.
"Calling all young witches and wizards!" Come dressed as your favourite witch, wizard or magical creature for a spellbinding ride on the steam trains over Halloween weekend.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026
- Dig out your robes and grab your wand: dressing up is encouraged
- Magical activities, activity sheets to complete and spooky fun along the way
- "All included with your regular train ticket!"
- Kids for a Quid: "we’re letting your little ones ride for just one pound!"
- "Children under 5 years of age travel free when accompanied by a fare paying Adult"
