Enjoyed looking at the stations and waiting for the trains to come and go. Most stations have other attractions eg static displays based in old railway carriages. Winchecombe has a cafe on the platform. Toddington has a cafe on site. Broadway - nice to spend time there. Many touristy shops. All staff we met were friendly and polite. The stations all looked pretty and free parking

Had a lovely day riding the steam trains here you can hop on and off at any stations, visit the desiel engine sheds. The track is around 15 miles long and they run two trains. Plan your stops as you can wait up to an hour for the next train at the middle station. They have catering and drinks on board it depends on which train as to the level of things available, the bacon rolls are really good. There are toilets both on the station and on the trains so you don't get caught short, they also have wheel chair access ramps available. The service is run by volunteers with only a handful of full time management staff and the volunteers are friendly and helpful. The stations are all really well kept and looked after with them being keep as they were in the days of steam. We had a.long chat during part of our ride with a volunteer that was examining people operating the engine, he was a mind of information and very interesting to chat to. The parking at the racecourse end is very good and plentiful. A great day out.

This is a really fun little adventure. The stations, museums and other features are restored and preserved with love and it shows. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and kind and bring it all together.

We visited Tues 12th May 2026 and it was fabulous. Overall it was quiet, loads of free seats in the carriages and space in the cafes. All the volunteers were incredibly friendly. All happy to chat. Our ticket enabled us to hop on and off the trains as they passed through each stop. You should visit this railway. It's very well run.

A wonderful railway, where we visited as part of the GWSR’s LEGO event weekend. Lots of trains. Lots of LEGO. And plenty of activities and things to see. My personal highlight was walking through the diesel shed and talking with the extremely knowledgeable volunteers about the Class 37 they are restoring. Cannot wait to visit again!
