About this event
Yankl and the Beanstalk: Family-Friendly Matinee is part of the programme at Pleasance London in Islington.
"Yankl is a hapless pickle worker on Brick Lane who's finally about to be bar mitzvahed - if he can stop his fiery cousin Milly calling a strike at their workshop. Armed with magic beans and a scandalous amount of camp, they'll climb a beanstalk to Mayfair and take down the Giant."
What to expect:
- Saturday 5 December 2026, 2pm, in the Main House Cabaret - the run's only matinee
- The venue's own words: "Matinee Family-Friendly performance (5+) - the PG/Kosher version! Particularly recommended for younger audiences, Jewish youth groups, and young theatre-goers"
- "Laughs guaranteed for the whole family!"
- 75 minutes; "Featuring the voice of Michael Rosen as the Giant"
- "From £15.00", and "20% off group bookings of 5 or more"
- The evening performances of this show are the 16+ version, not this one
- The North Road lift is out of service, so the Main House is not step-free
